The most famous white suit on earth, a classic example of the finest 1970s polyester tailoring, continues to be tracked down by the Victoria and Albert Museum after a worldwide search. "It got me totally by surprise. I fell completely deeply in love with him, as everyone who sees the picture does. "The broad lapels, tight waistcoat and high-waisted flared trousers 鈥?a good 71cm (28in) waist which Travolta could never enter into these days 鈥?have been endlessly imitated.
